Rule 180
May pardon or reduce sentence
(1) On the issue of privilege, the accused may be punished by the decision of the assembly through the chairman and make an application for pardon. (2) The chairman shall present the application as per sub-rule (1) before the meeting and if the meeting is satisfied with the apology made by the accused, he may pardon or reduce the punishment that has been imposed.
